My Story
I am Marc T. Clark — known to most people as M.T. — and the photos above tell a story words cannot quite capture. The man on the left side of those before-and-after frames is the man I was. The man on the right is the man God made me.
I came to a genuine, surrendered faith in Jesus Christ in 2010, in a parking lot on Aviation Road in Albany, NY — but the road to that parking lot was long, and most of it was dark.
In 2001, my infant son Holden died in my arms. The grief of losing him drove me out of any faith I had been raised in and into years of nihilism, eastern mysticism, addiction, and the slow, quiet destruction of a man trying to outrun his own life. I lived that way for nearly a decade.
Then the Lord found me.
Through the support of my local church, Pastor Bob Costello’s Christian Recovery Ministry training, Dr. Neil Anderson’s Steps to Freedom in Christ, the work of Freedom in Christ Ministries, and the patient hand of a God who had been pursuing me all along, I began the journey of repentance, healing, and transformation that has defined every day of my life since. I burned my old books. I surrendered the addictions. I learned, slowly and imperfectly, what it means to walk in the Spirit. And in time, the Lord clarified the purpose for which He had saved me:
To tell anyone and everyone that they can be free in Christ.
That is the work I do now. That is the work this website exists to do.
Where God Has Brought Me
In the years since coming to Christ, the Lord has:
- Walked me through divorce, financial collapse, and a global pandemic — and rebuilt the life I thought was lost
- Given me an academic foundation through Vision Christian Bible College & Seminary, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies (2018) and my Master of Arts in Christian Counseling (2021)
- Trained and credentialed me through Freedom in Christ Ministries (FAM, Online Discipleship Course Facilitator), Deeper Walk International (Certified Prayer Minister), and the American Association of Christian Counselors (multiple certifications in Christian Life Coaching, Mental Health Coaching, Trauma-Informed Coaching, and Human Flourishing Coaching)
- Brought me into a new marriage with my wife TammyLyn on January 1, 2022
- Settled us in a new home in Glens Falls, NY in 2026
- Established this ministry — the MT4Christ247 platform of daily teaching, podcasting, coaching, and writing
The journey is continuous and progressive. I am still walking it out. So is everyone I serve.
What I Do
I lead the Celebrate Freedom Support Group at Starpoint Church on Wednesday evenings, and serve as a volunteer Online Discipleship Course Facilitator with Freedom in Christ Ministries.
I am a Certified Christian Life Coach and a Trained Prayer Minister, and I serve the Body of Christ through two distinct arms of ministry:
