In recovery circles, we say that we are only as sick as our secrets. However, there are some situations where traditional or secular forms of recovery just won’t work.
I struggled with alcohol, drug, sex, and food addiction for years and knew I had a problem but didn’t want to go to some 12-step program or rehab where I would have to expose my dirty laundry for the whole world to see.
