A Calling that is Sure and Certain – Purity 1920

Purity 1920 on YouTube:
Good morning,
Today’s photo of the brand new MT4Christ.com logo featuring the sun shining over a pathway that leads to the cross, and the tree of life beyond, comes to us from yours truly, with the help of Gemini, as I felt moved to upgrade my website’s logo to reflect my Christian faith and the whole “freedom journey mindset” that I want to convey as a Christian Life Coach.
Well, it’s Wednesday, and I guess you could say that the tree of life at the center of MT4Christ.com could also visually represent our arrival at another midweek summit, so Happy Humpday.
Ever since getting inspired to be clear about my vision by Tony Robbins teachings and attending to the “Time to Rise Online Summit” earlier this year and the “Unleash the Power Within” seminar 2 weeks ago, my desire to pursue the things I want to do has become extremely passionate. Beyond my old goals of conquering food addiction and obtaining new peaks of physical health, Robbins’ “coaching” has given me a burning desire to be in one household with my wife, TammyLyn, and to reach more people with the gospel and the message of freedom in Christ.
One of the things that I was taught at UPW, 2 weeks ago, by Robbin’s business partner, Dean Graziosi, was that you have to be aggressive in sales by being passionate about delivering the benefits of what you have to offer to others. If you believe in your product, you are not serving your potential customers by being demure when it comes to sales and marketing.
I know that faith in Jesus Christ is the only way that leads to life, peace, joy, and freedom. I have years of experience with the Lord and have learned much about living by faith in the power of the Holy Spirit and about overcoming the ways of the flesh. I don’t only have a message to deliver about the gospel. I am willing to encourage, coach, and pray for people who need help in finding their way into God’s peace and joy. So, I have become bolder in marketing myself with new thumbnails on old podcasts that speak the truth about the ways of overcoming by faith in Jesus Christ. It is my hope that more people find my website, my blog posts, my podcasts, and my Christian life coaching and prayer ministry services so they can be confident in their faith, accomplish their personal goals, and have a deeper relationship with God.
In hopes of reaching more people, today I shared the new logo on social media with the following message:
“Empty me. Fill me. Use me.”
Faith in Jesus Christ is the pathway that leads to peace, joy, and eternal life.
Having found freedom and healing through my faith in Jesus, it is my mission to encourage others to find it and walk in it too.
At MT4Christ.com, I seek to encourage others to be “empty for Christ” and to be filled with the things of the Lord.
Through Daily Christian Encouragement, a weekly Bible Study, Christian Life Coaching, & Freedom Prayer Ministry, I hope to be used by God to help others to grow in their faith and to experience God’s peace and freedom in Christ.”
I may have made a new logo and am trying to “market myself” more, but I only do this because I am absolutely certain that people need Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and they could benefit from me as their friend and coach. I might have written this message this morning, but that has been my mission since the Lord saved me and set me free.
Speaking of faith and certainty, the Turning Point with Dr. David Jeremiah speaks about those topics, and I am sharing it on the blog today to encourage people to be certain about their faith in Jesus. Dr. David Jeremiah writes:
“SURE AND CERTAIN
Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful. – 1 Corinthians 4:2
Faith is only required when we do not see the fulfillment of a promise or the answer to a prayer. That is why the writer to the Hebrews said that faith is “being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see” (Hebrews 11:1, NIV1984). If we are not “sure and certain,” we do not have faith. The Classic Amplified Version of the Bible expands on Hebrews 11:1: Faith is ‘perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses.”
We most often think of faith in terms of trusting God for our short or long-term needs. But what about faith when it comes to trusting God for His prophetic plans for planet Earth? When this world pressures us to conform our lives to its values and standards, are our eyes of faith fixed—are we “sure and certain”—on the fact that God will ultimately reward our faithfulness? Faithfulness, Paul wrote, is the main trait required of those who follow Christ.
As cultures around the world grow dark in these latter days, let us remain “sure and certain” that God’s prophetic plans will be fulfilled.” – David Jeremiah
Glory for the Christian is more certain than the grave.– John Blanchard
Amen. As uncertain as things can be in this life, the way of Jesus calls us to be absolutely certain about Him.
Doubt and disbelief make us unstable in all our ways, fill us with anxiety, and steal our peace.
But Jesus calls us out of that life and into a new world where we can find peace and freedom, and the only thing we have to do to find it is to put our trust in Him.
- I have faith that the Lord will give me strength for today.
- I have faith that the Lord will protect me and never leave me or forsake me.
- I have faith that because of my faith in Jesus, all my sins are forgiven.
- I have faith that when I die, I will be in God’s kingdom forever.
- I have faith that one day Christ will return, as the scriptures say, to rule and reign for all eternity, and that I will be there with Him.
So, although I may not know everything that will come to pass in my lifetime, I can move forward in peace because I have faith in Christ and I am absolutely certain that things are true.
Jesus challenges us to believe in Him and to follow Him into His peace.
Don’t doubt. Believe.
Jesus is trustworthy and true.
But to receive the life and peace that He has for you, you must choose to be certain about Him.

Today’s Bible verse comes to us from “The Quick Scripture Reference for Counseling” By John G. Kruis.

This morning’s meditation verse comes from the section on the Providence of God.
Jonah 1:17 (ESV) And the LORD appointed a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.
Today’s verse is the second of four passages of scripture that fall under the twenty second point of our counseling reference guide resource section on the Providence of God.
22. The story of Jonah strikingly reveals God’s providence.
Today’s Bible verse tells us that God will make a way where there is no way and foreshadows the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Yesterday’s days verse told us how God provided a storm to stop Jonah from running from His mission. While the other sailors were dumbfounded by the severity of the storm, Jonah knew that it was from God, and he knew he was to blame for it. So, rather than being responsible for the death of everyone one board, Jonah commanded that he be thrown into the sea and when they did, the storm stopped causing the sailors to worship the Lord for His mercy.
Jonah was then provided with Great Fish to help him get back on course, spending three days and three nights in its belly.
God provides for His plans. So let’s learn from Jonah and follow the Lord where He calls us.

Day 54 -Heart Problems – Read Hebrews 3:12–19
See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily … so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. – Hebrews 3:12–13
The heart of every problem is a problem in the heart. The people of Israel erred in their hearts—their hearts wandered from God and His Word. They also had hearts of unbelief; they did not believe that God would give them victory in Canaan. They had seen God perform great signs in Egypt, yet they doubted He was adequate for the challenge of Canaan (Heb. 3:7–11, 16–19).
When a person has an erring and disbelieving heart, the result will also be a hard heart. This is a heart that is insensitive to the Word and work of God. So hard was the heart of Israel that the people even wanted to return to Egypt (Num. 14:1–4)! Imagine wanting to exchange their freedom under God for slavery in Egypt! Of course, all this history spoke to the hearts of the readers of this letter, because they were in danger of “going back” themselves.
Believers who doubt God’s Word and rebel against Him do not miss heaven, but they do miss out on the blessing of their inheritance today, and they must suffer the chastening of God.
Something to Ponder – When was the last time your heart was “hardened by sin’s deceitfulness”?[1]
